Concept week 2

This week we were still working with the concept team. They gave us Monday off so we could finish up our event report and finalize our photographs and everything. The event I covered was the 6th annual Seaport Village Busker Festival which took place on Saturday March 24-Sunday March 25 from 12-5pm. I mainly focused on the Kamikaze Fireflies act which was 2 performers who did stunts such as fire hula-hooping and fire juggling and kept the crowd entertained the whole time. I really enjoyed the concept part of this rotation, it was fun being able to act like a reporter for a day and tweet about the event, cover it with the photographs we submitted and to write an article about it. It was very informative and I learned a lot about live tweeting and how to capture the moment with memorable photographs that represent what was going on at the event. I look forward to the marketing portion next week
