content week 2

This week my team continued to work in the content group.  Last week our group learned about journalism and reporting and this week we put it into action!! Each of us had to choose an event to report on, while also tweeting and taking photos at the same time.  At first it was a bit difficult to multitask all of these things, but as the event went on it got easier to get information, as well as inform the public.  For my event, I went to the grand opening of the store, Graffiti Beach.  It is located in South Park and supports emerging designers and artists.  They decided to open this past weekend because there was an annual spring walkabout, which attracted a ton of attention to the new opened store.  Many of the designers in the store take an eco friendly approach, such as Beatrice Holiday, who supports riding bikes whenever possible, and makes all of her jewelry out of the inner tubes of bicycle tires.  There next event will be held on April 7^th, so if any of you would like to check it out feel free to ask me any other questions :)  Hope you all had a great week!  I think my group moves to the marketing department next week… yayy!!
