Hi, everyone!
This week my group is working with the Sales department of U-T San Diego. When we went in on Monday our mentors, Paul and Rich, showed us a presentation highlighting the strength an advertisement published with them has compared to their competitors. The data they showed us was very impressive--I can see why so many companies chose to advertise with U-T San Diego! We were also told we get to tag along on sales calls. This will be an exciting opportunity to participate and learn more about what a career in sales involves. I'm going on my first one this Monday and looking forward to it very much (especially after hearing about the wonderful lunches the first group got to enjoy).
