Both Monday and today we worked in the content side of the
UT department. We learned about
the different aspects of journalism, news, and reporting. Today, what I found interesting was the
side to photojournalism. They want images that tell a story, but basically in
picture form. (I love photography,
but this is a different side to what I have ever done before!) Hopefully through this assignment we
can create a story that captures the audiences attention as well as tells a
story through our set of pictures.
Next week I know I will have more to write about since we will have to
cover and write about an event between now and next Wednesday, but mainly this
week we just learned the steps on how to complete our story! I have an idea of what
event I’m going to do, but don’t want to give too much away right now ;) Our instructors
really stressed ACCURACY and getting all the details. I think as a group we will be able to produce great stories,
I’m excited to see what events everyone decides to write on! Good luck team!!!!
