week5

Hi guys!

I was really interested to see what everyone would come up with today and thought they all turned out great.  All the groups had so many creative ideas!  I’m interested to see which ones are actually implemented into the booth at the art walk, and think it will be a great experience for us to actually help with the whole process during the event itself.  I really liked the ideas of holding different contests and having people vote on them, but do realize that there could be an issue with time constraints.  Also incorporating USD into the event was an awesome idea as well.  I know for our group, we really tried to stick with having the artsy creative theme, and it seemed like many of the groups did the same.  I think it would be beneficial to UT to have a bigger giveaway at the end of the event as well as smaller ones throughout, just to keep people involved and interact with them throughout the day.  And we all know people participate more when they are given incentives ;) haha.   

Hopefully all of us can gain traffic to the event by telling all of our family and friends about it!  Maybe we could come up with a flyer to put up around school/local businesses/send out to friends & family??   

Excited to switch rotations next week!!  Should be fun to actually follow an event & write up a story/take pics! :)
