Week 7

This week I am working in the content section. We were assigned to cover an event that would appeal to a wide range of people, live tweet at least seven tweets from the event, take photographs, and write an article. Like Kelli, I also chose to write about the Greek Week letter writing campaign for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I thought it would be a great way to show how the Greek community at USD is coming together for a cause.

The event was on Wednesday, March 20th and although this was the third year I've participated in it, it was exciting to look at it from the eyes of a reporter, rather than just a student. I truly paid attention to what was being said, looking for good photo opportunities and people to interview. Paying such close attention to all the little details that I haven't noticed in the past has made me realize what an impact this event has on the St. Jude community.
